The Vegmasters’ business was commenced in 1986 as ‘The Parsley People’ by the Danish entrepreneur Birger Nissen.
Birger developed a machine to process parsley and the business quickly grew to accommodate a wide variety of fresh processed vegetables and herbs indispensable to the food industry.
Birger has earned a long-standing respect of a grower and supplier network, providing solutions that anticipate technological and industry trends.
Our Managing Director, Betina Nissen, combines all elements of Vegmasters. She does that with great skill, heart and soul. Betina keeps Vegmasters up with the times in all areas, so you can be sure you’ll get the best service and quality you expect!
John Methven, General Manager, has a Bachelor of Science in Food Technology with over 40 years experience/expertise in the food industry. John paves the way for personalised customer service, quality assurance, leading manufacturing processes and heads the happy processing team that makes Vegmasters.
Zhi Meng Liu, Operations Manager, coordinates orders, production, customer service and dispatch. Liu makes sure orders are prepared correctly and dispatched with attention to quality and timeliness according to your needs.
