Vegmasters Pty. Ltd. commenced in 1986 as "The Parsley People". Birger Nissen and Raymond Brasleret made a unique team. Birger, a Danish carpenter with an entreprenerial mind, developed a machine to process parsley. Raymond, a French Chef, was the perfect contact to the food industry and food manufacturing.

A partnership lasting 18 years was formed and a very successful Vegmasters developed.

In December 2004 Raymond retired and Birger today runs the business with his wife Betina.

Birger is highly respected in the industry and has been at the forefront of vegetable processing for many years. He is innovative and creative as well as being able to meet the demands of the changes the industry is currently experiencing. Birger has a very loyal group of growers and suppliers that has been cultivated over this time.

Betina a former Nursing Unit Manager of Westmead's Trauma Ward, has worked in the Company since 1993. The skills that she developed over the years in her previous role has been transferred and enhanced here at Vegmasters in the important areas of management practices, quality systems and continually upgrading and implementing new systems that reflect the high levels of achievement we have reached.

Complimenting the owners of the business is an experienced team covering all facets of the production process. Our managers bring strength, maturity and knowledge that enhance the way we do business at Vegmasters.
